April Newsletter 2014

APRIL 14th 6:30 - 8:00pm

South Montgomery Community Center

2235 Lake Robbins Drive

For many years, Pam photographed weddings, school sporting events, and shot portraits and photos for the local school yearbooks. In 2006, Pam discovered microstock photography at www.iStockphoto.com/fstop123.

Stock Photography was something new and microstock was new to the industry. Now, 90% of Pam’s work is in stock photography. The challenge of creating a setting, directing models, and orchestrating an inspiring shoot is very rewarding. The majority of her shoots consist of ordinary people in everyday activities.

Photo Tips

IPhone Photography Tip: Get Close
IPhone Photography opens up amazing possibilities for getting close to your subject because it is so portable. And that's a good thing, since it lacks the powerful zoom lens of a traditional SLR camera. So take advantage of this to get up close and personal with your subjects. More interesting and more intimate photos will result.
