John Lawson - Panoramic Photographs

All Points North - Model Railroad by Sue Wheatley

Photography is the process activity or art of creating still pictures. With most art forms more is gained when sharing ideas and creativity and there are several opportunities for you to share with our club members. The club is currently in need of someone to fill vacant board member positions (president and publicity). Take a chance to share your passion and gain a lot in return. Please contact Christine Martin

March Speaker - John Lawson

John has had a life-long passion for people photography. He started with a Brownie box camera, then an Argus C3, and at age 12, his dad gave him his first professional camera, a Rolleiflex, which he still has. A ‘million’ images later, someone paid him for some work, and, as they say, the rest is history. The passion continues to this day to capture those memorable images that commemorate the special people and moments in life. He converted from film to digital seven or eight years ago and enjoys the freedom and opportunities that digital photography offers today’s photographers. John operates Memorable Images, a boutique photography service for weddings, portraits, events and panoramic images.
