Photo at the top:
Cesar Vargas , won this month mini contest with this excellent image taken at the 2006 Houston Auto Show. Ford “Shelby GR1”. Shot with a Sony R1, handheld. He tried to make the car leap out of the frame, "thinking out of the box". He used PS and Masks to achieve the desired effect. Interesting photograph.

March Activities
At our regular meeting on March 13:

* Jim Fife was our speaker presenting different perspectives for photography, very informative. He helped us to look outside the box, to take risk and pull down the walls to our creativity. Thank you, Jim, for sharing your ideas with us!

* Brenham wild flowers field trip. Around sixteen WPC members enjoyed taking pictures from the wildflowers and from the Rose Emporium. These field trips are a great way to make friends sharing photo techniques.

* WPC members, Bob Beaird, B. Driscoll, C. García, F. García, J. Haydel, S. Long, and D. Montoya helped judging 4-H Youth Photo Contest at the Montgomery College. Interesting experience finding out how far the youth can go to make their pictures outstanding.

* Special thanks go to Janice Braud, Dianna Montoya and Cecilia García for the snacks and refreshments.
