TOWN CENTER PHOTO OP
The Woodlands' Town Center Improvement District
wants our club members to create beautiful images of the Town Center
area for them to publish (with credits) in brochures, post cards,
calendars, posters, etc. Best pictures chosen will win cash
awards. Look for guidelines coming soon.
SHOOTING FOR FALL COMPETITION
to get busy shooting your PORTFOLIO of related images
for the special Fall Portfolio Show & Competition. Click

to take some pictures of our presenters and activity
monthly meetings and to document our field trips and special events
for use on our web site. If you are willing to help, please

Photography Club is
an organization formed
to support area photographers of all ages, skill levels, and
interests to advance in their ability to create truly satisfying
images. In the process, we all become great friends,
enjoy field trips and outings together, and learn from each
MEETINGS. We meet on the
second Monday of every month from 6:30 to 9 P.M. at the Libray
just west of The Woodlands Pavillion (The
Montgomery County South Branch Library
at 2101 Lake Robbins Dr.) in
the meeting room immediately to your
left as you enter the front doors.
Visitors and the curious are always most welcome!
MEMBERSHIP. Anyone interested in photography,
no matter what your age or level of experience (professional,
amateur, or wannabe), is most welcome to join our club.
Membership is a measly $15/year – that's
a mere $1.25/month, less than a cup of coffee! Membership
is half-price for young people up to age
Our monthly online newsletter goes out around
the first of each month (you are reading the current issue).
We keep all back issues archived on our club

I take a series of images of the same subject
using the same lens types from different
manufacturers, and use the same film,
you won't be able to consistently pick out
one manufacturer's images from the other.
Great photos can be taken with many
different companies' equipment.
The message isn't in the media,
but in the vision.
